8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Registration The Burrow in Hulen Hall Check-in at our hospitality table and pick up the schedule of events and other goodies.
All Day Classroom Visits for Selected Classes Sample the College’s nationally recognized academic programs by attending a class. Schedules are available at the hospitality table.
3:30 p.m. Friday Afternoon Discussion Raney Building Lobby I eat therefore I am…Discussion of American Food Culture by Dr. Stella Capek and Dr. Joanna Seibert.
6 p.m. Hendrix Players Presents What’s That? A Hat! Cabe Theatre Join us for a theatrical performance for the entire family, sponsored by the Hendrix – Murphy Foundation.
8:00 p.m. Family Feud The Burrow in Hulen Hall Compete in a friendly family competition, hosted by the Hendrix Resident Assistants.
Saturday, September 26
8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Registration The Burrow in Hulen Hall Check-in at our hospitality table and pick up the schedule of events and other goodies.
8:30 – 9:45 a.m. Saturday Morning Coffee with Faculty & Staff Plaza Fountain(Rain site, Hulen Ballroom) Get to know Hendrix faculty and staff members while enjoying coffee and pastries by the fountain.
9 a.m. – 5 p.m Bookstore open Hulen Hall Browse in the bookstore for the most recent Hendrix items and be sure to look for parent items!
10 a.m. Family Weekend Convocation & Music Concert Staples Auditorium
Featuring performances by the Hendrix Choir, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra and Guest Speaker, David Granger, Hendrix Parent and Esquire Magazine Editor in Chief.
4:15 Black/Orange Intra-squad Swimming and Diving Meet Wellness and Athletic Center
10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Beach Volleyball Blast Behind the Wellness & Athletic Center
Campus-wide beach volleyball tournament and free lunch, sponsored by Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Donations for FCA welcome.
11:30 a.m. – 1p.m Lunch Hulen Ballroom A ticket is required and can be picked up when you check-in at the Burrow in Hulen Hall.

Faculty and staff members will talk about what to expect during your student’s time at Hendrix.
· Dr.David Sutherland, Academic Affairs Associate Provost, will give a brief overview of the first year academic experience, touching on course performance, support, and grades; advising; selecting a major, and privacy issues for academic records. · Dr. Peter Gess, Director of International Programs, will share about opportunities for study abroad and international experiences. Mills B
· Trista Grieder, Internship Coordinator, will discuss how Career Service Services helps your student prepare for his/her professional future. Mills C
